The double-floor main room, with its light and tropical trees, gets some welcome drama from a dark Cappellini couch, a rug from ABC Carpet & Home, and a custom coffee table.

As an Interior Designer I follow other designers in search of inspiration. This month I want to show a wow project that I found on Architectural Digest.

Office

Atwood's desk is decorated with books from his extensive collection. "In addition to photography, which has always been a huge inspiration for me, I love books," he says.

I love the wall office that Atwood designed. Clearly inspired by fashion and photography, this functional and stylish built-in desk niche is a dream.

dining room

The dining area is bedecked with Atwood's photography collection, which features works from Helmut Newton, Herb Ritts, and Bob Richardson. Atwood and Deutsch discovered the chairs at Naga Antiques in Hudson, New York.

bar

The double-floor residence in New York's SoHo neighborhood is chic, masculine, and urban—an aesthetic that Atwood and Deutsch achieved with interior decorator Andre Mellone.

The detail of how the bar and the music equipment blends into the design is amazing.
